Welcome to Bug Bug!

I’m Lorilin, a stay-at-home mom in Chicago who reads books to stay sane. Even though I spend most of my day looking after my lovely and wild children, I always make time to read—mostly fiction, wellness, and memoir, with a few cookbooks and gardening books thrown in the mix.

I rate all books on a scale of one to five ladybugs, so my favorites will have these little guys floating by the title 🐞🐞🐞🐞🐞.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy reading!

This book. Wow. THE SUM OF US.
Do you meditate? Starting this year, I’ve been meditating every morning for fifteen minutes. It’s helped me start my day calmly. (It doesn’t hurt that I also stopped looking at my phone first thing when I wake up, too...)
Is this something? I thought I’d take a few pics of my “read” #bookshelves 🌈 I just like the rainbow-ness of it. And the book nerd-ness of it. I dunno. I’m bored. Am I the only one who turns to organizing books for fun? 😬
