Jess and Alex share a flat in London with three other roommates. When Jess first meets Alex, she’s immediately smitten—and she thinks Alex feels something to. But when she comes back from a holiday vacation with her friends, she hears that Alex has been secretly hooking up with their gorgeous flatmate, Emma, for weeks. Jess has no choice but to hide her feelings and move on. But as she and Alex spend more and more time exploring the city together, it becomes clear that ignoring her feelings is going to be a lot more difficult than she originally anticipated.
The cover of this book tells you everything you need to know about the story. This is a cozy holiday read with a sweet, low-stakes love triangle that is perfectly comforting and utterly forgettable. The pacing is a little slow at points, and the fact that two people could spend so much time together and NEVER share ANY of their true feelings with each other feels implausible. But I still didn’t mind getting lost in these pages for a couple days. It was a happy distraction while it lasted.
Great review!! Iβve been wanting to read this book. But if itβs forgettable Iβm wondering if I still want to. π€

Itβs the perfect mindless read! Itβs a great book for when you want something kinda neutral and mild. Like a palate cleanser! π
