So much kid stuff in September. π³Β I did almost no reading, but that’s okay. There’s some personal growth happening here, and that makes me happy. I’m learning and figuring things out like:
This month I read:
- Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating — mindless and super fun
- Healing the Soul of a Woman — not for me
- The Winter Soldier — critic’s darling, but I thought it was just okay
- The Dichotomy of Leadership — a really solid follow-up to Extreme Ownership
I’ve been busy with plants:Β indoors, outdoors, flowers, veggies, just trying to soak it all in before winter.
I’m guessing there will be more books read once the cold weather really sets in. We’ll see. To friends and family, near and far:Β I hope everyone has a good October.Β β€οΈ
I love your indoor plants. π

Thank you! My family is very patient with me…as I turn our house into a cozy jungle. π¬π

It looks so incredibly relaxing and lovely. How do you keep those pesky little spiders and gnats away?
My family is the same way with me and all of my books!! π

Honestly, I donβt! Well I try, but those little bugs are persistent. Itβs annoying, but I just try to wipe them off with rubbing alcohol when I see them. It works for a while.
And I know what you mean about the books! Iβve run out of bookshelf space… π¬
