November was a good month for reading: Eulogy and Brave Enough (both not pictured), The Mare, All the Houses, This Old Man, It’s. Nice. Outside, The McKinsey Edge, All of Us and Everything, and, my favorite, Elizabeth Strout’s My Name is Lucy Barton. Solidly satisfactory reads (though nothing AMAZING except for Lucy).
One thing I am stoked about, though, is that I finally completed my Goodreads challenge for the year. I wanted to read 100 books in 2015, and so far I’ve read 110. So: BOOM. Goals, y’all.
Sometimes it’s hard for me to believe that I already have a whole month of books queued up before the next month even starts. But I do. I have some good ones coming up in December. I’m especially looking forward to The True Source of Healing and Untangled. I have high hopes for Untangled. My daughter is four, and already she terrifies me. When I think of how our teenage years will be together…oh dear God, I shudder. I will take all the guidance in that arena that I can get.
But December is going to be a good month, I feel it! I don’t know if I will be able to read two books a week–just because of the holidays and winter vacation, etc.–but I’m going to try. Bring it on, to-be-read list!
Seriously, sometimes I don’t even know how I can find time to read at all! The kids are always so…present. But you make time for what you love, I guess. 🙂

That’s a lot of books! I read 35-40 a year lately and dare to feel good about it!
